International Sales Engineer

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an International Sales Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of innovative electric drives and systems. This position will be responsible for the Original Equipment Manufacturing market in the Scandinavian region. Our client is looking for a commercially minded professional to lead the business with driving performance. The International Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing the Electrical Motor & Drives across the Scandinavian Region.

Responsibilities:

  • New Business
  • Implement business pans for electric motor & drive products
  • Achieve revenue and profit budget on electric motor & drive products
  • Maintain and enhance key accounts relation and develop new key accounts
  • Develop new projects and new markets
  • Conduct daily sales & marketing activities including but not limited to customer visit, site survey, quotation, document preparation, technical clarification, order closing etc
  • Enhance suppliers relationship
  • Customer product training and field services

60% of the role involves travelling through the region

Key Skills

Diploma/ degree in electrical or mechanical or industrial engineering
4+ years relevant industrial experience with proven track records
Sound knowledge in electric motor / drive / automation / control and in industries such as Shipbuilding, Maritime, additional experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical would be advantageous.
Solution minded and customer centric
Good presentation and communication skills
Motivated self-starter and good team player
English is required, Other European Languages would be desirable.
